SUNY Open Access Repository (SOAR)

Submit your works

Scholarly works - articles, book chapters, dissertations, theses, etc.) may be self-archived in SOAR.  Submissions that are not under an embargo will be publicly available and indexed/searchable in Google.

Please use the appropriate form for the item being submitted, either for a thesis/dissertation or article/manuscript. Library staff will use the information and the files sent through the form to deposit them in the repository. We will confirm that the correct version of the article has been uploaded and check what conditions must be met per the journal or publisher (i.e., link to the version of record, specific Creative Commons license, etc.).

If you would like to submit several of your articles to SOAR, the Library can use your CV or a Dimensions search to provide a list of closed access articles and which version may be placed in the repository.  The most common version is the accepted manuscript, but occasionally it is the submitted manuscript or the version of record.
