"Quick citation" tools (APA style

CAUTION: Always double-check the results produced by these tools to be sure that they are correctly following the most up-to-date version on APA style.

To help create APA-style entries for your reference list:

Library homepage - Enter article title into search bar; Under "Send citation/URL to", click on "Citation Templates".

Google Scholar - Click on quotation marks (") link under article listing. (NOTE: APA references produced by Google Scholar do not included the doi (or URL), as required by the 7th edition of APA.)

PubMed - Click on article title; then click on blue "Cite" link on the right side of the page.

CINAHL - Click on article title; then click on "Cite" link in the right side of the page.

KnightCite - To cite sources not found in databases listed above, enter all relevant information in KnightCite to create an APA style reference.
