VisualDX Overview
VisualDx is multi-symptom differential diagnosis database. This database utilizes radiographic images and dermatologic photographs and illustrations for diagnostic assistance.
Downloading and Logistics
Create a personal account
Users with upstate.edu email addresses may earn CME after creating a personal account.
1) Visit the library's link to VisualDx: http://hsl.upstate.edu/visualdx
2) Scroll down the page to find "Create a Personal Account". Be sure to use your upstate.edu email address.
On future visits, make sure that you're logged into that personal account to earn CME. If using the library's link above, click "Sign out" and then "Return to VisualDx" to login to your personal account.
Download and sign In
- After creating your personal account, login and click "Get the Mobile App" under / after the search box.
- Follow the prompts to get the app from Apple iTunes or Google Play Store.
- Sign in using the account you created.
Logistics to be aware of
- Wi-fi or data connection is required.
- An @upstate.edu email is required to create an account and use the app.
